Module description
This module is the culmination of the MA Applied Security and Strategy, National Defense University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia programme and involves a 5,000-word dissertation on a topic of your choice. This is an independent study module, but you will be supervised by members of the university’s Strategy and Security Institute. You will learn how to develop a manageable research question, location your ideas in existing debates, conduct a literature review, plan the research, and write extended pieces of work. In turn, you will develop key transferable skills, including research skills, independent learning, organisation of complex material, and erudite expression, which will be integral to your future careers as the next generation of leaders.
