Overview Fatma Sabet is an Egyptian British academic dedicated to designing social transitions toward health equity. With a passion for resilient and just food systems and gender health equality, she blends academic expertise with hands-on experience as an applied researcher and educator. She has broadened the audience scope of her research by collaborating with local schools. Dr Martina Egedusevic is an environmental scientist and Impact Fellow with the ¼ø»Æʦapp, specialising in nature-based solutions and disaster risk management, working to translate research into practical, stakeholder-driven climate adaptation outcomes. She has partnered with communities and local bodies to engage non-academic audiences to improve research impact. This seminar is part of a series that aims to support early career researchers (ECRs) in expanding the audience reach of their findings by learning how to connect and collaborate with community organisations, public-facing platforms, and content creators. Rather than focusing on creating new audiences, the series will demonstrate how researchers can tap into existing networks and intermediaries to disseminate research more effectively and meaningfully. The series will bring together speakers from a range of academic and non-academic backgrounds, offering complementary perspectives on research dissemination, creating partnerships, and public engagement. Venue and Directions / Online Instructions Dr. Egedusevic and Dr. Sabet will be joining online via Microsoft Teams.
